Default to water change or wait

So I've decided I'm buying a rodi why not they fairly priced and waters cheap. My question is should I do a water change now with tap or wait 3 weeks till I get my rodi? Oh and my nitrates are about 10 meq/l.

how big of water change? If not too big, go & pick up some ro water from a reef store or a water store? its really not that much. 3 Weeks might be pushing it for a water change.

I think I know the correct answer.

I treat with prime. I have a 20g no sump yet. Tank is a month old planning on do water changes weekly. water change 2 weeks ago and two clown and a cleanerr shrimp, snails and hermits. See my whole ordeal is I'm very tight on $ till I get paid next, just bad planning.
