Default Black sponge

I noticed I have some encrusting black sponge on a Pocci with incredibly blue feather worms. It is growing reasonably quick.

I want to pull it out of the water for 10 min but was not sure how this would affect the coral and feather dusters

Any thought

Coral will be fine, as will the dusters.

Sponges do not like to be out of the water. If any air gets into them, they have a problem in restarting their "siphon" movement of internal water
