Default Rotifers feeding increases fauna

I started culturing my own rotifers about 3 weeks ago... and my fauna (copepods , amphipods, worms etc) has multiplied three fold. As I was feeding the main tank tonite, to my surprise, all the pods from the display tank started to swim around and hunt in the open... pretty cool to watch with the night light on...
Hope that the sandbed would mature faster with lots more fauna.

Anyone has similar success ?

Default

Every three months or so; I would shut off the pump to my "Above Tank Refugium" and add 2-3 capful of DT. After about 24hours, I would turn the pump back on and a couple of days later, the pod popluation would triple. They are all over the glass. I would siphon some of them over the main tank so my Mandarin would get more food.
