Default How close can the lights be?

I was wondering how close can NO lights be to MH's? I'm thinking in terms of heat. Will the heat from the MH damage or effect the flourecents?

It is unlikely that any damage would occur to the FLUORESCENTS.

Good to know. I can start building my hood now. I think these forums need a spell checker! Or I just need to learn how to spell...... no, it needs a spell checker

Thanks! Walter

Could happen if the temperature gets very high, but I am assuming Walter will provide some fans. If he does he should be fine.

I think they can be with in a couple inches with out worry. Just don't have the MH beside the plastic end caps and you'll be fine in my opinion.
