Default Great Buyer experience...

I know this is a can of worms for some people, but I think it is only fair to the seller to let others know of my experience.

I have ordered from Fragalot several times, and will say that at the very best of it, communication was difficult, and what you received was not necessarily what you ordered.

THIS TIME however, I have to say was WONDERFUL...communication was top notch..I would email Burc and hear back within 30 minutes or less. Packing was done by Burc himself and all items were as ordered and in the box and in FANTASTIC health...full color and polyps out within an hour of being in the tank.

Shipping was when I expected and a tracking number was sent immediately. I have to say one thing...something that I wasn't aware of before, is that Burc doesn't always pack the order himself...he has a "guy"....and that guy called in sick for when my order was packed...so Burc did it himself...I really think this is a huge reason for my order being as accurate as it was.

So, with that being said...I have no issue with ordering from Fragalot again, and in the future, will kindly as Burc to pack my order to eliminate errors...perhaps his guy just needs more time to learn the inventory and such, but either way...to order 50 frags, and get them all as ordered...was fantastic...WELL DONE BURC!!

Doug, we aren't interested in having him here. Years of failure isn't made right because of one or two success stories. We don't often have to make a big deal about congratulating any of our sponsors for finally getting it right. It's what they do.
We'll shortly go back to removing these, I just thought we'd let that last group go through the motions. It's apparent that people never learn and will continue to order from this guy. But if they want to do that, it will have to be without the board.

looking for clarity on your post...are you saying you are going to remove my post? I have had all the experiences others have had in the past with Burc, and I also appreciate that this is a side business for him, not the mortgage paying one, and expect that there will be pit falls because of that...but when any vendor or seller gets it right, credit should be handed out...it isn't only the part time vendors that muck up orders...I have had serious mistakes happen on orders from large national vendors...but no one cares about those errors. Why does every one care so much about the errors of a seller that does it on the side of their normal job? Cause the pieces cost less? you want better service? I just need clarity...

Kat, I'll leave this one as the last post for Burc. I let a couple go so people can get some feedback, but as a non sponsor, all the free advertising will not be permitted in the future.

Kat...

Although he did a good job this time, as other people mentioned, his past service was a nightmare. Weeks late. No email responses. Nothing.

He created so much stress and disappointment for so many reefers.

The sponsors on Canreef are stand up people and they are the only ones who deserve the publicity on here.

Good luck to FAL... but let the name die on Canreef. I am sure he belongs to another board elsewhere and might appreciate the feed back there.

Glad your order was head ache free... mine was not.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

Exclamation Fair is Fair

Do we delete the threads of the vendors that get bashed on here as well. Do they have to pay for advertising so that we can bash them with the proper style and etiquette. Hey I have seen it on here for myself......as long as it plays both ways then its fair a game. If not then I think we have to re-think the vendor advertising thing.

Just saying that if we can bash a (non sponsor) and it seems fair then giving the "bouquet" has to be allowed as well.

We used to, and lots of people got taken in by the vendor(s) in question. Twice a vendor received "protection" from negative claims, and it was not in the interest of the members.
We've since shifted our thinking a little, in that should there be a negative experience, you bring it up politely and professionally in the vendor's forum. Almost always this will result in a satisfactory outcome for both parties.
Should it not, the issue can be reported to a staff member. Although we can't act on single incidents, if we see a pattern of neglect from the sponsor in satisfying customer expectations, their advertising rights may be suspended or revoked.
Having said that, any post that claims " Vendor X sucks donkey balls" will be removed
Additionally, as I've stated above, free publicity for non advertisers will also be removed.
