Default Flashing Tilefish

Does anyone have one of these or know anything about their survival rate or care? Would like to get a pair.

They don't do captivity very well, prefer to be in pairs or trios and need to be photo acclimated. Also make sure you have a tight lid as they are notorious jumpers.

My brother's died, It's a fast way to loose $150.00 (They are very timid also).

That's a shame, they'd certainly make a nice addition to my blue tilefish.

Thanks for the info. Helped me make my decision not to get any.

Probably another one of those species best left in the ocean, they have a terrible shipping history actually. Live aquaria won't even give you an arrive alive guarantee.
