Default Purigen

Has anyone had any bad experinces or wouldn't recommend Seachem Purigen. Right now I'm using Chemi-pure Elite full time but I think it's pulling out too many trace elements. My Zenia has shrivelled away, my frog spawn doesn't bush out as it use to, it's more cone shaped from the heads out. Could be because it seems to be splitting alot right now. Anyways wanting to go back to Purigen to control nitrate.

Used to use purigen all the time. Have since started using good quality carbon, and GFO, and haven't had a need for it. But never had any issues when I was using it.

I used to bag it up, and stuff it in my TLF reactor.
