Default Ogles, worth the money or not?

Curious if this would be worth it, or is there a cheaper alternative

It looks cool but I would have a tough time justifying $450.

I didn't think these had a camera adapter? Be funny if the images were in fact taken with a ref macro. I'd say buy a macro, pop it on a tripod and then go exploring. Could cost you twice as much but then you can capture what you see.

If you could take a piture through it itd be worth it. Otherwise id invest the cash into something that could capture the neat things you would see with that. Just my opinion.

How do you suppose they got their advertising pics ? simulated Yes it would need to be able to hook up to a camera to be worth while.

I think the pics were are just your standard fare macros but I could be wrong. If $450 wasn't a huge deal to me I'd certainly love to have one of these. Nose to glass is great but sometimes I wanna get closer!
