Default Marina Silicone Cure Time

I just re-sealed my acrylic skimmer collection cup. I used Marina black silicone and just ran a light skim coat on all of the acrylic joints. How long should I be leaving it until it goes back on? Thanks!

When the vinegar smell is gone you're good to go like any other silicone. I usually wait around 24 hours just to be safe.

I wait until the silocone is hard when touched. Hehe, that's usually more than 24 hours.

it can take upto a week to cure completely, but such a thin coat may only take a couple of days you don't want uncured silicone in or touching tank water even near the water as it can leach some very bad cemicals and nuke the tank. go slow be safe.
