Default WAY off topic

Okay I hope that this is not a really big issue but I am not sure where else to ask.

I have built a few things in the past but I am about to take my biggest plunge yet.

We have a very old bar in our house and I would like to replace it, I have chosen to rebuilt it FROM SCRATCH!!

All I am really looking for is tips, and suggestions. Basic size is 7' long and abour 2 or 3' wide.

Thanks and feel free to flame me for going off topic, sorry

Trevor, way off base from REEF DIY, so I put this in the lounge. Good luck with the bar!

Sounds like the perfect size for a built in tank.

Maybe this should be moved to DIY.

actually...
i have always imagined a large in wall reef, on the back wall behind the bar! with a 7' bar, you could easily have a 180 there.

sorry no tips for the actual bar construction though...

seriously though, can you imagine sitting at your bar staring at your reef tank...

downside is, you will probably end up drinking more than you usually would. or atleast i would, as i dont drink that often.
