Default fuge questions

ok i made a spot in my sump for a fuge and was wondering if miricle mud or anything is a good idea ill prob get some cheato algae or something to uptake nitrates

kinda an odd question i guess i buy cheato right? also myfuge is small the dimesnsions of it show it holds almost 8 G how much cheato do i need to buy just a little bit? alot?

Adding miracle mud only works well with root based macro algaes like caulerpa not chaeto.

A small ammount of chaeto will be fine - the stuff grows fast.

I wouldnt pay for it though. We give it away at the store, and if your patient or if you outright ask, someone close to you will give you some.

Doesn't need much space, before I got a separate fuge, just grew it between the baffles in my sump (~4" gap).
