Haven't done it myself but my brother uses Bittorrent or uTorrent and finds the torrents off http://btjunkie.org/ . Not sure if uses (or needs) a third piece of software so the downloads play on the iPod.

Torrents is where you can find anything. You also can use software to re encode the movies that you download to mp4,for your ipod.

Yup, most programs need to be purchased though. You will be able to use a trial version which will give you 50% of the movie with a watermark, etc, etc. Apparantley there's an app. out called My Youtube Converter (or something similar) which is supposed to do a good job of encoding to mp4, and fast to boot. Again, you will recieve a trial version but there are no limitations as far as I know... end rant.

Are you using a MAC or a PC. If it's a MAC I can tell you how I do it and what programs to use. I even have a program that will "rip" a DVD into iPod format.

If streaming media to your iPod is an option, look into TVersity.
