Default clownfish have lost there anenome.

My pair of Ocellaris clownfish have lost their anenome(died). It was a green bubble tip. There is another anenome in the tank. A pink tip.(not a bubble tip) I moved the second anenome over. But the clownfish have not automatically adopted it. Is there a good chance they won't? Or are they non-compatable? Any advice?

Sounds like the other nem may be a Condy?
If so they most likely wont as condys are not a clownfish hosting nem and have been known to eat clowns...

I would do a google search and see if that is indeed what you have.

I'm not sure if that's the type of anenome. Here's a picture of the new hopeful...

If you plan on finding a replacement host check out this article...

Bubble tips can be annoying in a reef especially one that is packed with corals. My clowns refuse to pair as they are not the same type so the perc has claimed the bubbletip while the saddleback is hosting a candy cane, xenia and a hairy mushrooms. I have heard they will host anything given time.

That looks like a condy you have, and it appears to be splitting.
