![]() Bought some macroalgae for our seahorse tank the other day and quarantined it overnight in our now empty 7 gal bowfront. Good thing I did because there was a strange looking brittle star on one of the MAs, which I removed from the MA but left in the empty 7 gal.
I don't know what kind of star it is, but it isn't something I want in any of our reefs. I guess I'm chicken to put unknown animals into our reefs considering the mithrax crab fiasco a few weeks ago. Anybody who wants this guy can have him. He's about an inch in diameter with all legs spread out. He has three long legs that branch into two other legs, and has three other very short legs. I'm going to do a thorough cleaning of the 7 gal today and would like to give him to someone rather than plastic bag him and give him the old rock treatment. |
