Default Purple Goniopora Question.

How easy to take care of??..What food. light etc do they require. Flow??

Gonioporas are hard to keep as a general rule of thumb. They are a medium light LPS that may require feeding or nutrients in the water rather than the superclean, low nutient SPS conditions. They also seem to like flow. Hope that helps.

+1 with anthony. Seems the real key to these guys is always making sure they have food in them. Keep in mind though, that even a lot of the most experienced of reefers call gonioporids a waste of money. I think there's better options out there.

Default I have pink with blue mouth....

I have a colony of pink with blue mouths. When I first got it there was a sore in the middle of it. I just left it for a while but the sore was growing and would soon have taken the whole thing down! So I fragged it a couple of months ago and now all is well. The healthy chunk I was left with is doing extremely well! Out all the time and starting to grow like crazy. I feed almost every day, lots of light, good flow. Now it is one of the my favorite corals in my tank.
