Default Need to share my good news

Just wanted to share my happy news with someone. My electrician just finished. Yippe. I'm actually getting closer to get a tank setup.

Now the gyproc is going on, and being mudded on Saturday, so next week will be paint, then The tank can go on the stand, and then the plumbing can begin.

Not sure if it was a good price, but he put in a sub panel, with 3 - 20amp breakers, and 1 -15amp with GFCI's, cost me $650 even. The other electrician gave me a price of $950, so I'm pretty happy.

Nigel,

That was a fine price to pay for a legit professional to do it without it being under the table. I had an electrician over today (a buddy) and when he saw your post he told me that you got a decent deal. Especially considering that all the sub-trades are so busy right now in Vernon that they can ask what-ever they like.

Yah the originall price was $950 from the first guy. I'm happy with the deal. He showed me all recipts my breakers alone for my main panel box were over a $100. They don't make them anymore. Then add the price of the actual panel box, and all the GFCI, and cables/ wires, total of 30 outlets. My neighbor a contractor seemed impressed. When he's impressed I'm very happy, means I got a deal.

Mark might need you in a couple weeks, for a big lift, if all goes well.

I'll be there...by then I hope to be stronger from lifting my new baby every day. haha.

I'm guessing that your breakers were from bulldog and if yes, then they would be damn expensive, even used. 30 outlets eh? I really need to see what you are planning!

I don't remember were he got it, but I went to Kal west and got some pricing couple weeks ago, and they were about $10 more but he gets the wholesale deal. I know for when I go to install my central air in the spring, for a double poll 30 Amp it's $125 plus taxes. But I will be running it off the new subpanel, and the breakers for those are like $15ish.

I go to the gym once in a blue moon. I can throw around some weight, but a 8lbs baby can break your arms I tell yah. It's funny I always had to pass the kids off to here after 10min, and would always get the "Who Goes to the gym" line. Maybe tommorow night if your available you can come by and take a look before the gyproc goes up.

I would love to...assuming that I don't get to stay overnight at the hospital with my wife and new baby. If they don't give us a private room, then I get the boot. I'll probably be loaded on caffeine and junk food if that's okay with you.
