Default Quickreview: JBJ Ocean Pulse Duo 2 socket

I picked up the JBJ Ocean Pulse Duo, 2 socket version, and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it so far. I hooked up a maxijet 1200 on each side of my tank, plugged them into the unit and set it the switch to 10 seconds and then plugged in the unit.

What I saw right away was all sorts of crap being stirred off the rocks and in about a minute I had a very cloudy water column! The surging of the pumps even reaches the bottom of the tank where I see detritus on the bottom swirl up in little whirlwinds.

I was previously running my maxijets on 15 minute timers using a coralife light timer. Overall I never realized the benefits of a wavemaker until this moment so I give a thumbsup to short cycle wavemaker devices
