I think you're asking WAY too much for the "quick disconnect" at $30 - it's nothing more than a threaded union, a few inches of PVC, a bushing and a coupling. Granted I pay wholesale prices for fittings but that seems outrageous to me.

And I would never use a check valve like that in an aquarium application so I can't really comment on the price but unless you guys some how pay ridiculous prices for PVC plumbing fittings I don't see how you can rationalize $39 for what amounts to a ball valve, check valve and hose barb.

If you want to sell those two things I really think you need to bring the price down.

Please keep in mind that the only reason I'm commenting is because you wanted to know if you were out of line on the prices.

Thank you for leting me know i apreciate that.

I was told that these things are about 50$ at home depot and then you have to assemble and glue yourself.
I use to have two of these and olready sold one.
I have no idea how much as i never done any plumbing myself.

So if anybody wants any of that just PM me or whatever.

I am very flexible because i am not going to use it and all these things just sitting in my storage.

Would half the price be still too much to ask?

This is true, unless you get them from Home depot. I have seen bulkhead fittings there cost upwards of 30$. and unions in excess of $10.

bump for useful parts though
