Default Green star polyps

... except it has no polyps or green or stars. just the purple mat. I received this little frag (thanks brandon!) as a little experiment to see if the polyps can regenerate themselves form just the mat.

Has anyone else tried this? Right now it's just the flat purple mat and is lightly elastic banded to a piece of LR. Anything else I should do?

wait. My little frag didn't look like it was going to do anything, and within a few days wee tiny bumps sprouted wee tiny polyps. I fed with coral frenzy from Golds, although with the tank flow and all the nutrients in the water I likely didn't have to separately feed. They are starting to grow like little weeds!! Thanks, Steve!
