Default What camera?

Just wondering what camera people would suggest for me to buy?
I am wanting something that would allow me to take some nice up close shots of my tanks and corals
definitely digital
I also don't want to get a second mortgage to buy it either
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks
Neal

I just got a Canon S3 IS. My girlfriend gave it to me as an early christmas present, it was just voer $500. I've seen them at bestbuy and future shop for $550. 6MP, 12X optical zoom and has an image stabilizer so you don't get blurry shots at full zoom, the full zoom works out to be the 35mm equivalent of 432mm, so it's a big zoom.

These are 3 of the pictures I took last weekend when still learning. The glass isn't quite as clean as it needed to be, but a good idea of how close the macro will let you get.
