Talking re: Reeflux 150w DE 10000k bulbs

Well, I sold a couple of tank systems last month & ended up getting some Coralvue Reeflux MH bulbs afterall to replace the Coralife ones in my Aqualite Pro. Huge difference. The colour is a crisp white with hint of blue & the actinic spike the manufacturers claim for their big marketing point really works. The corals & anemones' colours really POP out at you compared to the old bulbs. My wife doesn't even want me to turn on the actinic or blue LED moonlights, she likes the look of these new bulbs so much. Was seriously considering the Phoenix 14500k bulbs but I figured with only 150w & not 250w, my corals needed the higher PAR of a 10000k. Glad I went with these. Just picked them up from Wendell at OA & very happy with them so far. I'll post before & after pics later. (as well as update after the burn-in period).

Anthony

I ended up selling the system & upgrading to a 250w. For punch, I liked the Geisemann bulbs. (I used 13000k) For colour & good par, I now use 14000k Aquaconnect bulbs. The Reeflux bulbs were definitely a step up from the original Coralife bulbs, but Geisemanns & Aquaconnects beat either type.
