Default PVC glue

What is the best type of glue to use on your plumbing?

I have had good success with using a seperate solvent & glue. Can't remember the brand names, I have used product from Home Depot & Rona with equal success. Both were clear solvents and grey glue/cement.

Oatey is the name of the stuff I use, works well. Use lots especially if plumbing a high gph external pump.

I prefer the oatey grey stuff - (one step stuff, no priming needed). I noticed there was some clear primer and clear adhesive at home despots in the electrical section - that'd probably be even nicer.

Clear + clear Oatley and I think you can purchase it from Western International Plastics locally.

If you are useing the Tiderflex flexible PVC tubeing (highly recommended)you have to use the PVC 795 made buy Weld-on. This will also work well for any ridgid pvc sch40 or 80, and its clear so it looks good to. You can get it at any irrigation supply shop.
