exact lenghth of 6' vho setup?

need to know the exact length of a 6' vho setup. dont know if i can fit it in my hood.

ummm, i dont have any yet. i am actually thinking this one ahead.

Usually, 6' tubes are 6' long when you use the regular endcaps (the $3 ones that you get from shoplamps). However, the waterproof endcaps add an extra 1/4" on each side or so, so the total length becomes 6' and 1/2". I would allow an extra 1/2" so that the lamps don't get crunched when they get hot (and break).
