Default Perc behavior

Just got a new true perc. What is normal nocturnal behavior for this fish?

they do a little funky swim in place dance for sleep, sometimes over the top of a powerhead. mine always sleep in the same place every night, they never seem to sit still.

Hey. good, sounds like what he's doing. Kind of an up and down in one place kind of thing? I was just worried because he's doing it right at the surface near the skim box.
thanks

When i got mine i had 2 tank raised that i bought from Jayson at SWC. they were cool they would only stay in the top corner of the tank. They would not explore to anything not even go near my bubble coral or the frogspawn or the hammer.

Til one day they decided to play in my green Cap . After awhile the little one took the durso train to the sump and didnt make it.

So i got a wild one and now the wild one went eveywhere in the tank with the other tank raised following him. Now they have housed the frogspawn and sometimes the feather duster. Every now and then they explore the clam that i have.

give them time they will keep you laughing mine do

.
