Another question for computer geeks
I have problems printing from my computer which has Windows XP and a Brother MFC 9700 printer. The printer installed properly with the installation disc.
When you go to print a document, it won't automatically print to the printer, it gives you a choice of the "Microsoft Document Imagewriter" or the Brother printer. The default choice is the "Microsoft Document Imagewriter" which instead of printing, makes some kind of image file out of your document. Like all other Microsoft products, this is a pain in the butt. How can I disable the Microsoft Document Imagewriter and make the Brother printer my default print option?

I assume you've already tried going to the Printers under the Control Panel, right clicking on the printer and select "Set as default printer" ?
