Ok another bit of conflicting info..

My tank 140 g running a protein skimmer, refugium, and sump. My tank has been running for 10 days, the water is clear ph = 8.0 ammonia = 2 Nitrate = 2 slat water meter is 1.025 On advice I put in 2 clown fish 3 days ago which are doing very well ( what pigs) and I have a rock full of mushrooms. Other bits of live rock have some type of feather dusters apearing. I started this tank with some cycled live rock and sand, as well as adding some live rock that was near cycled (information given to me) I have not seen any algae blooms yet nor have I seen any spikes in readings. Some in the stores tell me that my tank may have cycled very fast because of the live rock and sand, others say that I need to wait, and what I have so far is not a good idea. I only bought what I have on recomendations. My mushrooms are growing like mad in the short time I have had them, I have algea growing on the live rocks at a rapid pace (had the power heads pointing right at the rocks on advice), and the fish are very active. Hope some one here has a thought and can put this all in perspective for me, time is not an issue. Robert
