Default Small fish in large tanks

Has anyone had experience with small fish (barnacle blenny, 1" or so" or similar in very large tanks?

Specifically I am wondering how to protect these small, fast moving fish from large overflows and intakes for circulation pumps?

It should do fine, I wouldn't think the blenny will be hanging around the overflow anyways.

My sailfin blenny does fine near the overflow and his fave spot to perch is on top of my CP40. Hes only ended up in the overflow once and that was because a Kole tang was harassing him.
A strong healthy fish should do okay.
