Ballast question

I found a new working Advanced mark lll R-2S110-TP ballast at work - its made to run 2 f96t12/ho at 110watts each 220watts total @ lamp current 2.0amps. Just wondered if it would also run 2 f48t12/vho 110watt lights. I know its all in the amps but don't know enough about it - i read VHO run at 1.5amps. Would the ballast run the lamps or kill them?????? Thanks for the input and have a awesome day
