Why don't my posts show up in this forum?

This forum is not a discussion forum. This forum is used to post basic informative articles. The articles are aimed for those new to the hobby to help reduce some of the repetitive questioning of basics in the rest of the forums - although more experienced hobbyists may also pick up a thing or two! If you would like to discuss the topic in one of the articles, start a thread in one of the discussion forums. The idea is to provide a place for newbies to get basic information to help them get started.

If you have a topic idea, please post it here (your post will show up within a couple days when we see it).

If you would like to write an article, please send a PM or email to either Myka or Aquattro with a quick outline of your newbie-aimed topic. Don't feel intimidated! We can spell and grammar check for you and help get your thoughts down for you. You don't have to be a writer to submit great ideas and share your experiences!
