![]() ok my tank has been running for a year I've been battling brown hair algae, then i got all these little air bubbles all over my rocks, my param are all in check, i use ro water with new filters, i think its coming from my sand so ive been taking it out with my weekly water changes, so i started to think maybe its my lights, is this to much light in a day, anyways the battle goes on
i use a AI sol blue my times are RB on at 8 am 1 hour ramp to 75% B on at 9 am 1 hour ramp to 75% W on at 10 am 1 hour ramp to 60% W off at 7pm 1 hour ramp down to 0 B off at 8pm 1 hour ramp down to 0 RB off a 9pm 30 min ramp down to 0 |

![]() Post a pic. I had the same issue and I upgraded my skimmer and flow and the amount of crud that came out was unreal. I even tried chemi clean and it didn't work. I thought it was cyano at one point cuz it's looked crusted on the sand and slimey. Been a couple weeks now and nothing's back yet. Actually little spots I had are all disappearing. Check your phosphates too.
