Water change water
i filled a bucket with RO water, added my salt to right salinity, put air bubbler and heater in and planned for water change that day for my 12g nano. Well that was 2-3 days ago. (got very busy with other stuff ) My question is, is this water still good for my water change or do i start fresh?

I mix my new salt water right after doing a water change. It then sits there with a power head for 2-3 weeks until my next change. I would say as long as there's a top on it to protect it from any contaminates dropping in, there's no problem

I try to mix the water a few days beforehand as well. A heater and a powerhead keep it "fresh". I think your water will be fine.

I always have a batch brewing sometimes for Weeks just recheck salinity to account for evaporation.

It should be fine but just double check the salinity due to possible changes from evaporation

Thanks for all the response Had to make another batch as i did not have it covered and found dust and dog hair floating. Better safe than sorry. Still no time to do the change but covered it and put heater and bubbler back in and lifted it off the floor. Hope i get to it tomorrow, but good to know that it will last for a few days or maybe weeks Oh, and i will check salinity before the change. Thanks again everyone.
