Default Dang Biotherm I hate you

Well, if you checked the Biotherm heater thread I made in the Product reviews, About it setting itself to 197* after a power bump. I caight the tank @ 91* Cooled aas fast as I could, about 2 hrs to 85. But Seems my Cleaner shrimp never survived. Loved that little guy. WOuld eat Formula 1+2 Pellets from my hand. *sniff* Was the first inhabitant of my tank too.\\\DAM YOU Biotherm

I've had a similar thing happen. It was after that when I started using two small heaters to provide the heat, as one heater isn't strong enough to cook the tank. If you need 200w for the tank, buy two 100w heaters.

I saw lower watt Titanium heaters at OA a while back. Check with Wendell.

I had the same problems with my heaters so I purchased a Medusa heater controller. I now use my ProfiLux to control both heaters and chiller.

There are a number of heater controllers on the market and not that expensive.
