The question is why would you want to give the mandarin a fresh water dip?

I would guess flukes, but prazipro seems to work fine as long as you dose it at least twice and sometimes more.

Just for a reference, nothing reall going on.
I read that some people do freshwater dip on new fish from LFS to get some nasty stuff out from new fish so I am just curious can I do it with certain type of fish only or all Thanks |

Mandarin goby's are not prone to the same issues other fish have due to the slime coat they produce on their skin.

IMO anybody who fresh water dips a new fish to " get the crap off" shouldn't have fish in the first place.
