for my RO/DI unit. install on the water supply to the filter. i have my ro unit plumbed right to my sump with a float valve so it is a back in case the float valve fails or the 1/4" tubing breaks that water will not be running 24/7 it will only run for the time alotted. i currently use one but the timer is a little different so i may trade it for one of these. otherwise i'll just use it outside for watering the lawn.
