Default Cool product - What if you put it in your tank?

Would the water just jump out....What about coraline and other algae if it grew on the glass couldn't you just blow it off ?

They sell that stuff in cans at home hardware. It's called never wet.

The only downsides are that it's not clear (makes things hazy) and doesn't last very long (few weeks)

As far as I could tell it's not a permanent coating so it would leach into your water. I don't think I would want that in my tank and then how would you reapply if the tank was already full of water?
