Default FW plant tank

Well here is a pic of my 75g plant tank. Anyway I will get a reef when the kids are older in a few years and I can cut back work to 1/2 time, for now it is FW plant tanks.

That is a nice tank. Very well balanced What kind of lighting are you using and are you injecting co2?

Thanks Dabbler.

Actually it is just being grown in since the tank ran into some problems over the past several months.

The lighting is 4 x 55 Watt pc's retrofit, 6700K, from AH supply.

It is CO2 injected one bubble per second.

Anyway let me know if you need plants, I've got plants for trade or sale.

I always found plant tanks to be as much if not more work than a reef. If you can build yourself a Ca reactor then your upkeep will be much less. PLUS when you have to cut back your plants you don't get much for them, however, when you frag your corals, you get a bit more.

I think your missing the point... this is a hobby not a business. and if anyone thinks they can get rich from fraging SPS there on crack.

lol I can't get rich? damn, Okay I'm back to breeding betta's that I can sell on Ebay for $500 US...

Seriously, yeah I know I just found that I'd get about $2 for a plant but if I take in a frag of Xenia etc I can get $5+, I'm not going to get rich on it by any means but, it's fun to swap the stuff for other stuff.
