Default Heat Wave!

29 degrees on June 3rd in Powell River! What the hell! It seldom gets that hot here in July. It's well over 30 in the Lower Mainland. Gonna be a long hot summer; the woods are already dry and fire restrictions in place. I'm sure Victoria will be having water problems again.

I almost melted at work today, it was 28 in my office and about 26 in the lab with a lab coat and gloves on. Ugh.

I'm basking in the glory of having a car with AC and the AC is cranked at home as well

Our house has AC...and yesterday we went and bought a portable AC unit for the kitchen (AKA fish room!) and it's nice in there now! What we will do for our tanks....UGH!

LOL, I had to buy an AC unit for my chiller as it heats up the room and blows fuses. Both are in the fishroom. Luckily its a large enough unit that it also chills the living room some.

Can't wait to try out the heat pump in the new house
