Pest ID and Solution needed please.
Hey all.
I was wondering if anyone had some insight into what is slowly taking over my tank. A few bad (sorry) pictures)   They range in diameter of a pencil eraser to larger than a nickel. They are strictly nocturnal, when the lights are on they retract both their tentacles and body completely. I have probably a dozen at least. I pretty sure came in with a chunk of rock my candy canes were attached to that I didn't QT which serves me right... any help would be appreciated as I haven't found any pics of Apistia or Mojano that looks like what I have.

Looks like aptasia to me. If they are contained on the one rock remove the rock and chip away at the stone where they are. It is best to catch them before they spread. Other methods include products like Joe's Juice (I laugh when I say that), AptasiaX, Lemon Juice, Kalk paste etc.... Peppermint shrimp are also known to eat aptasia as do Coral Banded Butterflies.
I believe that if you have caught it soon enough the only reasonable method is physical removal of the rock they are on. Other methods are an ongoing battle. - Joe

They are a mini Nem I have a couple they will move around if they do not like where they are and Peppermint shrimp will eat them. They are harmless basically a rock Nem they have a bit of color to them. Someone on here told me what they were called about 8 months ago when I posted a pic of one I have in my tank. Mine have not migrated much I believe I only have maybe 2 left as my peppermint shrimp ate a couple others. They don't seem to hurt anything I think they are eating some tiny snails at night as I have a few mini snails in my tank.
