Default Salts h20 vs reef crystal

This question have probably been asked before. I apologize for the redundancy. I have been using h20, someone in town will be having a pretty sale io reef crystal on boxing day. Which one do you think is better and why. I ran a sps dominated tank. Your input will be greatly appreciated.

I used to use h2o, I found it a bit dirty and more expensive than reef crystals. My corals seem happy with RC.

i was using reg IO then switched to H2Ocean for @ 8 months, H2Ocean was inconsistant mixing, even with mixing the pail first, left alot of reddish brown residue in my container and on my sand bed, i just switched to IO reef crystals, it always mixes clear and with little residue, bought 10 200gal boxes for 450 bucks.

Have been using h2o almost exclusively for the last year, I've never seen any dirty residue left inmy mixing tanks...

Last boxing day I bought the io product, had loads of issues when I tried using it so I went back to the h2o and havent had any problems...still have most of the io left over, I use it. In q and holding tanks only now.

H2Ocean for about 3 years......I find it does mix a little dirty but it doesnt bother me...... as for the claims that it causes cyano or diatoms, I think that is BS..... more likely a change in conditions is the cause the cyano/diatoms but whatever......the thing that attracts me to it is the fact that it is a naturally evaporated salt, not a synthetic.....

I have used RC from day one. It's all I know, never tried anything else. I always test it before it goes into my tank from my barrel.

At 1.025 Cal is between 420-440 and a dkH Of 8.5-9. I disagree with the statement "loaded in Mag" above. It is consistantly lower around 1150-1200 and I alway have to increase Mag before it goes in. My personal experience.

Torn about switching to another salt but I think it's coming.
