Default Red Sea Max 250 - LED Retrofit Kit

Announcing our new Red Sea Max 250 LED retro fit kit. http://www.modularled.ca/red-sea-max-250/

This kit comes with one huge 32 inch heatsink for maximum spread in positioning your LEDs and comes packed with 64 LEDs by default.



Default configuration contains:
  • 32 Cool White LEDs
  • 20 Royal Blue LEDs
  • 12 Blue LEDs
There is also additional capacity for another 2 modules for extra Blue/White or Red/Green Modules. You can adjust the numbers of Blue/White LEDs as you wish in your order should you want a different ratio.



This kit is powered by 2 Inventronics 75w 700mA drivers and they wire into the existing timers in your RSM hood.

Installation instructions are not complete yet however it will be very similar to the RSM 130 install instructions.

Dimming is possible with one of our dimming kits or almost any reef controller (Profilux / Apex etc)

How are the Led's cooled? are they cooled with fans? Could the fans be relocated to the top of the hood to suck in air?

They are cooled with the heatsink and existing fans in the RSM hood. Yes additional fans could be added or existing moved with more modification.
