Default FS: nitrate reactor

Hey guys, just thought I would throw up this prototype 1 off bio reactor and see if there was any interest for anyone thinking about starting up with a nitrate reactor.....

I would like $40 for it.

I have been seeing more and more people go towards Bio-pellets for denitrification as oppose to DSB (deep sand beds) and being on a tighter budget these days but still wanting to try something new I decided to build a reactor!!

total cost of materials to build 2 units were $80 and then my time which was about 8hrs a total for 4 evenings, the things we do to save money.... anyhow I hooked it up to my outlet of the chiller which is run by a mag 9. I am quite suprised at the way it churns the beads it has alot of power...

Both the intake and outlet are 3/4" and can be run insump or out the feed is at the bottom and and return at the top, there is also a strainer so pellets don't escape...
Anyhow here are the pics
