Does anyone have any sugestions or tips that might help me decide how I want my tank(72gl.) and sump(33gl.) drilled. Right now I use an overflow system and have never owned a drilled tank. I want as little noise as possible. With my overflow it sounds like someone is running the bathtub all night.

Go get Jack at OA to do it, very reasonable price and will give you great direction as to plumbing your tank.

You can easily Dremel holes yourself, but I'd do as Corey suggests and get a quote from OA first. A diamond bit will cost you about $15 at HD, but 72 gallon tanks have mighty thick glass so it would be a pretty unpleasant experience to grind out any reasonably-sized hole.

Jack loves drilling tanks! Get all your holes in 3/4".
