If the skirt has alternating purple / yellow tenticals they are true purple hornets according to some.

The palys are just a common green paly. They are very aggressive. I had one come on a frag I bought from red coral and it eliminated the colony and three others close by as it spread like a weed.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

+1. However, the argument is that both are hornets but the alternating is rare. Perhaps a morph of the first or visa versa.

The "true" hornets are outrageously priced.

these dont have the alternating skirt colors, and the palys are kind of similar to the devils teeth, they arent the common greens ill try and get a better pic they have a blueish skirt and a neon blue center dot.

If the ones on the left look like mine on the right then there devils teeth and can be a pain in the arse. Mine now cover 2 rocks the size of a large grape fruit & have smoothered out a couple other really nice zoa colonies.
