Default vortex mp10 ?

I have it set to make a wave, fast pulse at 70% how come nobody else uses that setting i mean dont you wanna simulate the ocean, the rocking back and forth isn't that what we all want. i have a green bubble tip some blastos zoos,etc, should i be using a different setting

I used reef crest at 100% in my 75 gallon until I upgraded to an MP40, now I have it at 50% on reef crest

the fast pulse setting creates a noise i cannot get used to. at least it drove me nuts so quickly i changed it to another...
