Sea urchin

Just wondering... do sea urchins extrete waste out of the central tip of their dorsum? One of my sea urchins was spewing what looked like tons of sand out for what seemed like minutes... just wondering.

yah, mine spews out sandy stuff out the middle top of its body.

Yep it happens. My diometes spits out little balls of sand or what not. It's cool, bursts every few miuntes.
