Review of the Odyssea HQI DE 2x250 W+4xT5+6x2 LED fixture
The 2x250 fixture itself.

I wonder if anyone knows if these Odeysea ballasts look anything like IceCap HQI ballast looks inside? HQI ballast thats how it looks from the outside. http://www.aquatraders.com/PhotoGall...&PhotoNumber=6  .  . Odyssea T5 Ballast  .  . T5 ballast connector  . T5 ballast fuse  . 6 Cords !  .  .  . LED "ON" honestly 6x2 LED's are way too much for night time and nothing for a day time when the rest of the lights are on. one LED on each side would be enough. I will disconnect 4 of them and keep as spares.  Fixture is pretty slick only 3" .  . DE reflector .  . LED units .  . T5's are protected by end caps and also an acrylic shield .  . getting to the bulbs is PITA but once you ve done it its ok.  . Last edited by RuGlu6; 07-10-2011 at 08:06 AM.

Quality looks like its gone up thats for sure. I find when you replace the crappy Odyssea bulbs their fixtures aren't that bad at all.

However now after what about 3 weeks the color changed to a more crisp white, almost with the blue hint ! I was planning to buy 20K bulbs from Odyssea because i did not like their 15K color but they did not have any 250W bulbs in stock so i waited and now it looks like i may even keep these 15K Odyssea bulbs.

Wow thank you for the pictures.
That looks like a custom canopy that you made for the tank. Can you share more info on it? 760 watts generates a lot of heat so are you directing the hot air out? Do the fans within the fixture work normally as intended within that canopy? I can't really from that one image of the T5 lights, but are the reflectors just one U shape around both T5HO bulbs? Based on your pictures, it doesn't look like they are supplement any actinic. But then it also doesn't look like you have them turned on.
