Default vermetid snails?

So lately i've been seeing spider web like things in certain areas of my tank.

and i've also noticed these spiral tubes on a dead part of my montipora and on top of this frag. the coral seems to be growing overtop of the tube, but i feel like its growth rate is being effected.

anyone know if this is a vermetid snail or something else?

thanks

Yup! Kill it. My personally favorite way is to crack open the shell with a taxer and watch my wrasses eat them. Or super glue is a good way also.

Looks like the coral is doing fine to me. I would give it more time they might be fine together.

I use some tweezers, and get the whole thing in the tweezers, and then, POP! kill the bugger and squish the insides. clowns eat it up every time.

I would get rid of it if it's causing trouble. Sledge hammer and a blow torch should do fine.
