Default Pics needed

I recently got a frag of Gorgorian and i'm still a newbie and i'm not sure what it's supposed to look like. I'm not sure if it's open or not.
Could you post your pics of your Gorgorian so i can see if mine is surviving?
Thank you.

Here's mine anyway

Looks like the polyps are extended to me.

Very hard to tell if it's going to survive or not. This look like a photosynthetic specie as it is not very colorful. Usualy the photosythetic are light brown or tan in color or bluish with brown polyps. The non-photosynthetic are usualy very brightly colored and very hard to keep while the photosynthetic are easy to keep.

Hard to tell what specie it is though, but does look photosynthetic. Often the photoshythetic gorgonians will retract their polyps when the light goes out and might reopen them after a few minutes or not.

Looks like it could possibly be similar to the corky finger on Snappy's website. You can find a picture there of what it looks like with full polyp extension.

Corky Finger: Low flow, medium light, rated for novice.

Do you know what the exact species is?

Well I think I'll move it, I was told by someone to pit it right in front of the powerhead. I'll try moving it and see.

I've got the same corky finger from Greg and I can say that's certainly not what it is. I can't be much more help than that I'm afraid.
