Default connecting 2 air compressors

looks like I've got to stain the fence so picked up a spray gun, problem is I need 9.5 to 13.5 CFM.

Can get my hands on a couple of air compressors but both are around 6 CFM. Any problems connecting them together after each regulator? Would have each reg set to ~60psi and would use a 3 port manifold (port to each compressor, 3rd to spray gun).

I can't see a problem. There are two 5 hp compressors tied into the same system in my shop. No problems in the last 19 years.
