Default LF: HOB Filter (Mechanical)

Have a small patch of algae on the back of the tank, which isn't spreading (we have it under control now). I want to clean it up, but I know as soon as i do, the tank will cloud with particles. Actually, its already got quite a bit of "stuff" floating in the display, and I want perfect water!!

Our sump is too tight to add a filter sock, so I was thinking of getting a HOB filter that I can just attach for a few days to clean everything up, then take off again. So if anyone has one for sale ...?

Bump...still haven't found one. Anyone have a diatom filter they'd be willing to lend out for a couple days? I'd pay
